Cupcake Decorations For Those Who Don’t Have Enough Time For It

Do you often find yourself tempted with those lovely cake decorations in your local pastry shop, whenever you get the chance to pass by? Decorating these cakes is never easy, and would require some special art to do. Cake decorating has been evolving due to the fact that food technology processes is also progressing. Some people would even rely on this for their livelihood. The cakes are decorated in several varieties of shapes and color. Some edible toppers used for decorating would even look so real that you would hesitate on eating them, since you don't want to spoil the overall look of the cake. An example are those baby birds made of fondant icing that seem really lifelike, that eating them would be the last thing on your mind.

For those who love baking, you can just easily come up with these creations at home, so you don't really need to spend that much for them. The easiest and the most excellent way to indulge into cake decorating would bethrough making somecupcakes. These are cake miniatures that look really lovely and can be easily decorated with whatever you want for them. If it's Christmas time, come up with those Christmas tree decoration cupcakes. If it's your loved ones birthday, make it personalized by garnishing it with some if his favorites. If he's a soccer fan, add an edible football cake topper on it. All you simply need is a good recipe, and some creativity.

For those who do not have enough time for decorating, here are some few ideas to help you decorate the cupcakes in a fun and easy way:

The apple cupcakes - get a cupcake and garnish it with red frosting. Then, take a pretzel stick dipped in melted chocolate and then attach on the cupcake to make it appear like a stem. Put on some green gumdrops for its leaves, and you already have an apple cake!

Balloon cupcakes - This is simply the best way to decorate a group of little cakes. Choose several varieties of cupcakes and then frost them in a variety of colors, red, yellow, green, etc. Attach some colorful ribbons and place them right at the bottom of the cake, so it would look like some group of little balloons. Very cute indeed, and would look lovely on your plate.

Footprints- Simply frost the cupcakes with either white or light colored chocolate icing. Add some coconut sprinkles to arrive with a furry look. Take a chocolate mint to be placed at the center to serve as sole. Surround it with three chocolate chips that serve as its toes. These footprints would look like tiny paws, and is yummy to taste!

Grape cupcakes - These are tiny clusters that are made through icing a cupcake with a purple color and then putting some gumdrops at the top in the shape of a cluster. You may add some little green gumdrops to it, to make it appear as leaves of a vine.

Bed of roses - Add some green coloring to some coconut and place right on top of a cake. Put some candy roses right on top, or make your own candy roses with pink frosting and then garnish on top.
